Ivory Coast 0 - 2 Korea Republic
Nigeria 5 - 2 DR Congo
Bosnia-Herzegovina 2 - 1 Ghana
Algeria 0 - 3 Serbia
South Africa 1 - 1 Namibia
Italy 0 - 0 Cameroon
It is not ideal peparation for two of the teams (Nigeria and Ivory Coast)who have sacked their managers three months prior to the start of the World Cup.
If an African team is to perform well at the first World Cup to be held on African soil, a lot of work needs to be done. Unfortunately, there is not that much time left and more importantly only two or three more friendly games before the tournament kicks off.
The good news is that with determination and focus, anything is possible.
